As I reflect on the incredible weddings I had the honor of photographing this past year, I can’t help but share some of the amazing Minnesota Wedding Venues that set the stage for these beautiful celebrations. Each venue has its unique charm, and I’m excited to take you on a journey through some of my favorites.
1. The Essence Event Center – St Paul, Minnesota
Let’s kick off this venue showcase with The Essence Event Center, nestled inside The Chimneys near Como Park. This brand-new wedding venue boasts original brick and timber architecture that adds timeless character to your wedding. The combination of history and state-of-the-art technology makes it perfect for anything from intimate gatherings to lavish parties. Trust me; your wedding will look absolutely stunning against this backdrop!
2. Ahavah Cottage – Elysian, Minnesota
A stark contrast of black and white, Ahavah Cottage in Elysian, MN, is the epitome of luxury and elegance. Surrounded by tall lush trees, it offers a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site and a brand-new indoor ceremony space for unpredictable weather. As an added bonus, they’re in the process of building lodging for 40 guests—talk about a one-stop-shop for all things weddings! And did I mention they have mini-golf? Fun and sophistication rolled into one!
3. Stonebrooke Golf Course – Shakopee, Minnesota
Picture your wedding in an oasis of rolling greens, cascading waterfalls, and lush landscaping—that’s Stonebrooke Golf Course in Shakopee. The venue’s expansive views of the pristinely manicured championship golf course provide a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and reception. With both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, Stonebrooke offers a variety of options to suit your style. Plus, their newly renovated clubhouse suite is the perfect getting-ready space.
4. St Paul College Club – St Paul, Minnesota

Original buildings from the early 1900s, restored and modernized, provide a unique experience for couples and guests. The pavilion, with its floor-to-ceiling fireplace and sliding barn doors, seamlessly blends with the picturesque surroundings.
