Hello, everyone! It’s with immense joy that I get to share the wonderful story of Erik and Dani’s wedding day with you all. This wedding was truly a celebration of love, and I had the privilege of capturing every moment. Stonebrooke Golf Club was the perfect backdrop for this fall wedding.
High School Sweethearts
Erik and Dani, high school sweethearts, embarked on their beautiful journey to forever love. They first crossed paths during their high school days, and fate brought them even closer when they embarked on their first date on Valentine’s Day, of all days, at Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s safe to say that love was in the air from the very beginning. Fast forward to June 10th, 2022, when Erik popped the question during a breathtaking hike in Washington. Their love story is nothing short of magical.
Their Stonebrooke Wedding
The wedding day arrived, and it couldn’t have been more perfect, Their Stonebrooke Wedding was nestled in the charming city of Shakopee, Minnesota. Early September brought the promise of fall, with the first hints of autumn colors beginning to emerge. The weather forecast predicted rain, but our luck held, giving us a stunning overcast sky that created the perfect backdrop for this timeless and beautiful wedding.
Their Fits
Erik looked dapper in his suit from Men’s Warehouse, while Dani was an absolute vision in her gown from The Wedding Shoppe. The entire wedding party donned elegant all-black ensembles, lending an air of sleek sophistication to the day. What made it even more special was that each bridesmaid’s dress was uniquely chosen to reflect their individual personalities, adding a touch of charm to the celebration.
Family Traditions
Family traditions played a significant role in the day’s proceedings. Before the ceremony, Dani’s great-aunt shared a touching moment by pinning a bluebird pin inside her wedding dress. This heartfelt gesture was a beautiful connection between generations and a symbol of love and good fortune.
Familiar Faces
I first had the pleasure of meeting Erik and Dani last year when I photographed Dani’s cousin’s wedding. We struck up a conversation at the same dinner table, where they shared their vision for their own special day. It was an absolute delight to hear about their plans and dreams. Imagine my excitement when they reached out to me just a few weeks later to inquire about capturing their own wedding! Knowing that they had chosen me because of our previous connection made the day even more special.

Their wedding day was a bundle of fun, filled with love, laughter, and timeless moments.
