My dream came true when I was able to photograph an amazing styled Elopement at the Black Beach in Silver Bay, Minnesota up on the North Shore. I have always loved this part of Minnesota. The water. The trees. The beaches. It almost makes you feel as if you have been transported to another country or someplace only told in storybooks.
With COVID-19 changing bride and grooms’ wedding plans left and right, I wanted to give my couples inspiration to what could be for their wedding day. Even though you may have to postpone the big ceremony that you had originally planned, you could always save your date and elope! Micro weddings are the new normal right now, but that doesn’t mean that you have to give up everything that you have dreamed of. This elopement styled shoot was to give brides and grooms a vision to see what their wedding day could be.
Why not travel to a location you have always dreamed of. Or go North and find a forest, a beach, a mountain. You name it! This is the time to let your creativity shine. Share this beautiful moment with the ones closest to you. Splurge for the dreamy tablescape you only see in magazines. Buy the biggest bridal bouquet you can think of with the most
And while I am so incredibly excited to share these stunning images from our Black Beach Elopement, I want to tell you about the absolutely amazing team of people who helped bring my vision to life.
My Team of Amazing Vendors
The Cake
Hey There, Cupcake is so sweet and bakes stunning cakes! Chelsea created a beautiful light pink, three-tiered cake which she coated with a beach-inspired graham cracker crumble. To top it all off, she created a cascading floral piece to go along with the centerpiece and bridal bouquet.
The Florals
The florals created by Oak and Lily Studios created the most breathtaking bridal bouquet and centerpiece It was so inspiring to work with Amie. She took all our boho and beachy designs and created a cohesive piece that really stood out.
