MUST-KNOW TIPS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING DAY
As your wedding day draws near, you might find yourself wondering, “What am I forgetting?” Take a deep breath and let’s focus on a few commonly overlooked tips for the night before your wedding to help you feel more at ease.
CLEAN YOUR RING
You’ve probably searched for “how to clean your engagement ring” at least once or twice by now. Here’s a simple method: Fill a coffee mug two-thirds of the way with very warm water and add 5-10 drops of mild dish soap. Let it soak for at least 20 minutes, then gently brush away any loosened debris with a toothbrush, being careful to avoid too much contact with the metal. You can do this the night before the wedding or even the morning of!
PACK YOUR OVERNIGHT BAG
Designate a bridesmaid as your personal attendant to help with your overnight bag and day-of essentials. They can also assist with touch-ups like lip gloss or added color. Don’t forget to pack an emergency kit with items like shout wipes, safety pins, super glue, band-aids, tweezers, scissors, and a lint roller.

Any outfit or shoe changes + jewelry
Touchup Makeup (you may get some from your stylist, but just in case) – lip gloss, qtips, blush, setting spray, powders
Emergency Kit items – you can get these premade, but it is also just as easy to make your own: tide stick, bobby pins, flower pins, safety pins, Tylenol, sewing kit, bandaids
Deodorant, perfume, lotions

Avoid exfoliating or using microdermabrasion the night before. Apply sunscreen before makeup, and use a gentle cleanser on your face. Remember to paint your toenails if needed and choose your shoes accordingly.

Clean your pillowcase
Have a sleepover with your bridesmaids or Maid of Honor. They will help distract you and clear your mind

Prepare a details box for your photographer with important wedding items like your dress, rings, shoes, veil, bouquet, and jewelry for her, and shoes, socks, cuff links, tie or bow tie, pocket square, boutonnière, and vows book for him.
