I recently had the privilege of capturing the beautiful wedding of Camille and Luke in the heart of Saint Paul, Minnesota at the St. Paul College Club. This classic, timeless, and elegant affair took place on a crisp fall day on the iconic Summit Avenue. Let me walk you through the highlights of this unforgettable day.
St. Paul College Club
Camille and Luke chose the Saint Paul College Club as the backdrop for their special day. This venue exudes stately and gracious surroundings, making it the perfect setting for their classic and elegant wedding. From the moment you step inside, you feel a sense of being right at home, which truly sets it apart.
A True Fall Wedding
The season was in full swing, with vibrant leaves providing a stunning backdrop to their outdoor ceremony and wedding day. The crisp fall weather added a touch of coziness to the day. The overall vibe was one of pure elegance, with an atmosphere that felt both intimate and grand.
Simple Elegance
Camille looked absolutely radiant in her wedding dress from Couture Bridal. Her choice of a simple white and velvet gown perfectly matched the classic theme of the day. Her bridesmaids were equally stunning in their blue gowns from Azazie, each dress reflecting their unique personalities. The men donned sharp black tuxedos from The Black Tux, completing the clean and timeless look of the entire wedding party.
Honoring Their Fur Babies
One of the most heartwarming and unique touches of the day was how Camille and Luke honored their two beloved dogs, who couldn’t be there in person. Specialty Cocktails were named after their furry friends, creating a heartfelt connection between their love for each other and their love for their pets.
During the social hour, guests were treated to a delightful array of hors d’oeuvres that were anything but ordinary. Mini grilled cheese and tomato basil soup shooters, watermelon and goat cheese kabobs, avocado toast, and steak kabobs added a playful and gourmet touch to the evening.
Trivia Kisses
One of my absolute favorite moments from Camille and Luke’s wedding took place during dinner. Instead of the traditional clinking of glasses for a kiss, the couple introduced a fun twist. The guest who initiated the clinking had to answer a trivia question about the couple. If they answered correctly, Camille and Luke shared a kiss; if not, they got to kiss their significant other or choose another couple to share the moment. It was a charming and memorable way to involve their guests in the celebration.
In every aspect, Camille and Luke’s wedding was a testament to their love for each other, their attention to detail, and their desire to create a day that was as unique as their relationship. It was an honor to be part of their classic, timeless, and elegant celebration, and I wish them a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Warmly,
Andi Jo
