Brittany and Nick joined me in Northfield, MN for their engagement session this last week.
Northfield was the perfect location for these two because they wanted to have an urban feel for their engagement session, but wanted a quaint downtown. And Northfield is a perfectly quaint town that checks all of those boxes and more.
When Brittany showed up in her ankle-length white dress and Nick in his navy blue slacks and button-down shirt, I just knew that they were going to rock this session out of the park. Which they definitely did!
We started off the session on the Northfield bridge which goes over the Cannon River. I always love to start my sessions off here because it has the perfect backdrop of the town. Plus it’s a great location to start off with getting them comfortable by doing some walking poses. We even added in their dog Luna! I always love it when my couples bring their pups. Plus just look at Luna! So adorable.
We continued walking down the Riverwalk and stumbled upon a little ivy wall that was in full bloom! These two didn’t even need any of the prompts that I gave them because they were both natural in front of the camera!
We finished off our session by strolling through the downtown streets window shopping through all the cute little stores that Northfield has to offer! If you ever get the chance to get down there to look through the shops, I strongly urge you to! I promise you will always find something to take home.
I can’t wait to celebrate these two later this September at their Cannon River Winery wedding! It is going to be amazing. If they brought this level of style to their engagement session, I can only imagine what their wedding is going to be like!
