Alyssa and Ethan’s Winter Engagement Session

Yesterday I was able to capture Alyssa and Ethan’s Winter Engagement Session in Downtown Northfield.

Winter in Minnesota can be long and pretty miserable if you ask me. However, every now and again you get some sunshine and spring like days that help you get through those cold cold days. This past Saturday, Minnesota finally found some sun and I was able to celebrate by spending the evening trudging through the snow with Alyssa and Ethan in Downtown Northfield.

We started our evening near the Contended Cow, which is my favorite little pub. The picturesque bridge that stretches across the Cannon River, was the perfect backdrop to start our night. I always loosen up my couples by starting off with walking poses, but these two were naturals, they didn’t even need my ideas. They hit every idea I threw at them out of the park. They were cool and collected in front of the camera.

 

Their love story shined in every picture that I captured. They were so much fun and easy-going. I can’t wait to kick off my 2020 wedding season with them this upcoming June!!
