Hello again, lovely readers! I recently had the honor of capturing the beautiful wedding day of Justine and Brayden at my favorite venue, Ahavah Cottage in Elysian, Minnesota. It was a day filled with emotions, joy, and a laid-back atmosphere that perfectly reflected the love between this high school sweetheart couple.
Their Love Story
Justine and Brayden’s love story began in their high school days when Brayden crashed a bonfire hosted by Justine at her house. Little did they know that this chance meeting would lead to a beautiful journey together. Their first date was a trip to the theater to watch “The Hunger Games,” followed by quality time at Justine’s house. Fast forward to this past October when Brayden proposed in a heartwarming and intimate manner during a trip to Florida. Surrounded by a gazebo filled with pictures from their relationship, he popped the question, and Justine’s family, who she didn’t expect to be there, joined the celebration. It was a truly personal and touching moment that aligned perfectly with Justine’s vision.
Friday the 13th
Their wedding took place on a unique date, Friday the 13th of October. Despite the gloomy and rainy weather, the atmosphere was filled with love, joy, and a calm that can only come from two people deeply in love. They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck, and it certainly brought a special kind of magic to their day.
Dapper Attire
Justine looked absolutely timeless in her wedding dress from The Wedding Shoppe, while her bridesmaids wore deep red gowns from David’s Bridal that beautifully matched their personalities and created a stunning ensemble. The groom and his groomsmen looked dapper in black suits from Generations Tux.
Ode to Family
There were some touching family moments throughout the day. Justine shared a heartfelt dance with her grandpa, a tradition close to my own heart as I danced with my grandpa during my wedding, using the same song that brought tears to my eyes. Justine’s uncles gave a heartwarming speech, highlighting the significant impact Justine and Brayden have had on so many lives.
Ahavah Cottage Wedding
Due to unexpected weather changes, the couple had to move their ceremony indoors, which wasn’t their initial plan. Justine’s aunt stepped in and created a stunning wedding arch and flower pots with the help of their wedding florist. You’d never have guessed it was a last-minute addition, as everything about this wedding was absolutely gorgeous.
A Thank You
Justine and Brayden’s wedding day was a heartfelt, joyous, and unforgettable celebration of their love. I’m so grateful to have been a part of their special day, and I wish them a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and more beautiful moments like the ones we shared on their wedding day. Cheers to the happy couple!
