I am thrilled to share the beautiful love story of Megan and Robert; whose wedding day was an absolute dream to photograph and be a part of! Their heartfelt and sentimental wedding took place in the lovely city of Chanhassen, where they shared their vows at the Westwood Community Church, and later continued their festivities at the enchanting Green Acres Event Center. The entire day exuded a warm, loving, and family-oriented vibe that made it truly unforgettable. Let me take you through the magical day where their love story unfolded.
Megan and Robert
Megan and Robert’s love story began during the challenging times of COVID, when Megan decided to rejoin Bumble, hoping to find that special someone. Little did she know that fate had a beautiful surprise in store for her. Their first date was a delightful hammocking adventure at the picturesque Lake Josephine. Megan thoughtfully set up two hammocks. Keeping them six feet apart. And Robert added to the romance with an impressive charcuterie board spread. It was a perfect start to their journey together.
The Wedding Day
The wedding day was a heartwarming blend of history, hobbies, and cherished family traditions. Megan and Robert incorporated numerous family heirlooms, adding sentimental value to every aspect of the celebration. From Megan’s grandma’s treasured handkerchiefs to her mom’s precious wedding bracelet, and even a blue heart sewn into her dress adorned with her grandparents’ signatures. Every detail held a special place in their hearts.
The weather on their big day was a true blessing. With sunny skies and a delightful 75-degree temperature – a rare treat for a July wedding. The joy and excitement were obvious as Megan’s father saw his first daughter get married. With the knowledge that he’d soon be blessed to experience the same joy again in just a few months when his other daughter ties the knot.
Similarly, the first look between Megan and Robert was a tender and emotional moment. Robert surprised Megan with a handwritten note about her becoming Mrs. Wroblewski, and there was not a dry eye in sight.
Their Ceremony: Westwood Community Church
Their ceremony at Westwood Community Church was particularly special, as it held a deep connection to Megan’s childhood. The couple’s childhood pastor shared heartwarming stories about Megan’s growth and their relationship, creating a touching and intimate atmosphere for their union.
Green Acres Event Center Reception
Both venues, Westwood Community Church and Green Acres Event Center were chosen with immense thought and meaning. Westwood Community Church held a special place in Megan’s heart, being her childhood church, and provided a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony.
Likewise, Green Acres Event Center offered a stunning white barn with breathtaking woodwork inside the “hayloft.” It has whimsical touches like old-fashioned pavers, John Deere tractors, a horse-drawn carriage, and cow benches which add to the magical atmosphere. Megan’s favorite part? The adorable painted cows added a touch of charm to the day.
Later, during their special dances, Megan and her dad chose to break away from tradition. Halfway through their dance, they surprised everyone with a polka dance. Which added a touch of whimsical fun to the celebration.
Thank You Note
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Megan and Robert to bring their dream wedding to life. Their kind testimonial speaks volumes about their experience, and I am truly grateful to have been a part of their journey. I am filled with joy to see their love story unfold. I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and cherished memories. Finally, may your love continue to flourish with each passing day.
