Darian’s University of St.Thomas Graduation

COVID 19 has definitely impacted all of us in a plethora of ways. The list could go on and on. But when life gives you lemons, always make lemonade. And that is just what Darian did! So, yesterday we took her College Graduation Pictures at the University of St. Thomas

I have known Darian, for her entire life. I mean, I used to scare her with an Eeyore stuffed animal. We used to belt our hearts out to the Hannah Montana Movie…..I will never get that song out of my head, and I completely blame her. We used to jump on her trampoline and squirt each other with squirt guns.

I watched her grow into the beautiful and strong headed woman that she is today. I watched her walk across her high school stage a few years ago, and sadly, like most High School and College seniors, they didn’t get that opportunity this year. But why should that stop them but celebrating in anyway that they can.

Darian has worked her butt off to get where she is today and to finally grab that diploma! So we celebrated in the best way we know how…CHAMPAGNE!!!!

As we walked through the St Thomas Campus in Minneapolis, we reminisced about her time on campus. The traditions that she wasn’t able to participate in due to leaving campus a few months early. And like we always do, we laughed.

My favorite part was when we finally popped that champagne and celebrated her accomplishment. Especially because there was a group of students nearby who were having some sort of get together, witnesses the entire celebration.

So Darian, congratulations. I am so beyond happy for you! You are going to rock this thing. I will leave you with a quote.
